Abstract
Nowadays as technology keep getting more modern from year to year, people tend to create something that help to easier their lifestyle. Industries of electric vehicles are getting popular as its purpose to replace fuel-powered vehicles and also lightweight manual pedal vehicles which contributed for cleaner environment and easier to use. Lightweight vehicles as bicycles and beca which use human action to move cause more problems than benefit as human action are limited. People cannot paddling for long distance faster, cannot carry heavy load and need time to rest to gather energy.
The purpose of this project is to gather information on electric vehicles in order to improve the current human action pedal to transform into motorized system. The subject of this project are from a businessperson in Alor Setar, Kedah who request on transforming his current surrey car into a motorized electric car. The data obtained after an interview session with him to collect the information on problem occurred. From the data obtained, several process to create the finalized prototype design have been done. Next step involved fabrication and installing component for building prototype. Result were obtained and analysed to ensure the final product achieve objective of the project. Through entire process, guideline from supervisor and lecturers are followed. Information are gathered from various resource which are internet, journals and experienced persons.
