dc.description.abstractThis thesis is about the research about the management of production in food industry to achieve lean manufacturing for small and medium enterprise (SME) in which two company have been selected for site visit and answer the questionnaire of the survey. Lean tools is one of the method to eliminates the waste of the production and improving method in management of production. Industrial visit was conducted to gain the information of the method that are currently been used in manufacturing industry. Next, two lean method have been preferred in this research study which is Kaizen and Kanban method. The study provides the comparison between the method that both company implemented. Moreover, the takt-time is calculated for both company in order to know the valid time of their production to control the existence numbers of waste in production.en_US
