| dc.description.abstract | A mobile, low power solar water purification system was successfully created and to be use by rescue workers in less developed areas of the world. The design included activated carbon and ceramic candle filtration to 0.2 microns for bacteria and turbidity reduction followed by UV radiation for virus destruction. In this project, a solar aided water purifier prototype is to be built. Among the material to be use is solar PV, Dc motor pump, water filter, battery, charge controller with goal to produce drinkable water. Solar Energy has become one of most sought after renewable energy resources in the last few years. This thesis is about a solar aided water purification system which is a portable design. | |
