The use of solar photovoltaic systems has been increasing over the past few years. With an increasing number of solar photovoltaic systems at the distributed system, the impact on the distributed system is no longer negligible. This paper presents case studies investigating the impact of solar photovoltaic to voltage and power losses. The first case study is focused on the impact of the solar photovoltaic system on the distributed system under full load conditions. The second case study focuses on the impact of a solar photovoltaic system to the distributed system under half load condition. The last case study is focused on the impact of the solar photovoltaic system on the distributed system with the location injected and the capacity of the photovoltaic system. Results from the presented case studies indicate that the solar photovoltaic system penetration can be increased to 100% without causing any problem. The results also indicated that the solar photovoltaic injected locate at the furthest bus node is able to reduce the highest amount of line losses.en_US
