In this modern era, most urban citizens rely heavily on electricity to conduct daily life routine. This is due to high use of digitalisation and technology in many sector such as transportation, industrial and even in household. Consequently, the electrical power system network is rapidly growing bigger and much complicated in order to comply the demand. To avoid for total power outage, islanding is implemented to increase the reliability of the power system network by forming multiple islands that operate on its own during the present of any disturbance. However, the operation during grid-connected and islanding may differ and the process of reconnecting multiple islands may causes further damage. This project aims to observe the dynamic stability analysis during the process of recombining multiple stable islands in an electrical network. A dynamic simulation is done using the IEEE 9 bus test system on Matlab/Simulink Software. The behaviour of the generators are observed and further discusseden_US
