Abstract
In this contemporary, the development of simulator has evolved and the simulator is now can be used as an educational and training tool to provide a better understanding of the complexity of nuclear power plant among the student in the university nuclear engineering program. There are various types of nuclear power plant simulator available on the internet. However, many of the simulators are hard to operate due to limited of guides. This paper is primarily about the understanding of Boiling Water Reactor and simulation of operation in a nuclear power plant by using the best nuclear power plant simulator which already been identified through literature review. Guidelines on how to use the simulator and to simulate normal and accident operation are included and discussed. The outcome results of both normal and accident operation were compared based on the nuclear physics theory.
