dc.description.abstractThis thesis reports the modeling and simulation of lumped parameter model for cable joint in cable system. The cable system in trasmission and distribution of electric power supply used power cable as the medium of transmitting. The degradation such as partial discharge and water tree in underground cable especially using the cross-linked polyethylene (EXPE) insulation was a comman problem that occurred whitin the cable systems.
