Abstract
The purpose of this Smart Parking System is to develop a parking system to increase the efficiency to find parking spot. This system consists of 3 module sensor module, microcontroller module and mobile application module. The sensor node is used to detect the availability of parking spot; microcontroller module which acts as the processing unit and connect between sensor module and mobile application module; and mobile application to display the status of the paring spot and navigation to the parking spot. The system way implemented using low cost sensors. The vehicles are detected using ultrasonic sensors which is connected to Raspberry Pi module. Mobile application developed using Blynk application shows the availability of parking spot and provide navigation for the user using Google Maps. Prototype is built and the results are observed and recorded.
