dc.description.abstractThis study explores the design of fish-friendly hydropower mechanical system for open channel. It can be a river, a sewage or even a waterfall. The development pf hydropower as one of the biggest renewable energy keep rising rapidly day by day but it may cause a threat for the aquatic habitats and then slowly disturbing the ecosystem. Thus, this project will discuss about the advantages and the applications of the common hydro turbine types. Besides, it also overviews the types of hydropower that are implemented all over the world. The methodology for this project will include Quantitative Analysis, Customer Requirements, Engineering Requirements, Conceptual Designs, and House of Quality.
