| dc.description.abstract | This thesis will cover the implementation of PMBOK practice in terms of scope management and time management approach. In the first chapter, there will be introduction, problem statement and objectives of our study that will highlight our focus in this study and give a brief overview of our study. In the next chapter, past literature works had been reviewed so that we can identify the potential sources of information for conducting the detailed research. Furthermore background knowledge also can be known about the research topic. For chapter 3, the methodology section can be found. Here all the methods that were going to use can be found. All these process has been chosen and customized to fit our research scope. The most important part of this thesis can be found in the next chapter which is result and analysis. To show whether or not PMBOK practices are good for a project, a case study of completed project was also conducted and then compared with the PMBOK technique to show its effectiveness. Methods on how to develop a scope statement, WBS, and project schedule for the case study project will be the main highlight of this thesis. The final chapter for this thesis consist of our discussion and conclusion about our study regarding PMBOK effectiveness in project management. | |
