The experiment was conducted to find the compressive strength, ultrasonic pulse velocity capacity and water absorption of cement based and cement based bricks enhanced with banana leaf ash. A banana leaf is an organ of a vascular plant. The leaves form the shoot. Leaves are collectively referred to as foliage, as in “autumn foliage”. Different type of substrates used in few projects which were banana trunk ash, mango leave ash and mangrove ash. Banana leaves was used in this project. There are many factors need to take precaution on developing banana leave ash. The results demonstrated the strength of banana leave ash admixture in manufacturing bricks. The end product of banana leaf ash with different amount of cement is achieved.en_US
