dc.description.abstractThis project is about the study of urban solid waste management in Malaysia. The study will refers to solids of glass, papers, plastics, metals and others. All these solids are categorised according to the treatment techniques like sanitary landfill, composting, incineration and pyro-gasification. The aim is to find out which category consist the most solid waste. To study the solid waste, there is a need to collect all the information or data based on the categories. For example, in sanitary landfill, there is a waste of plastic, papers, metals and others. Similarly for the rest of the categories, there are also the waste of plastic, papers, metals and others. The solids components are tabulated in percentage and arrange or grouped into the categories. At the end of the project, graphs will be shown based on the categories to study the solid waste components. The graphs are plotted using Microsoft Excel.en_US
