Hybrid power systems can provide valuable means for electricity delivery to rural areas. Future success of those systems is targeted on continuous study, production and demonstration of renewable energy technologies, with improved operating performance, cost reduction and improved reliability. In this thesis, MATLAB/SIMULINK software is used to model and simulate the system. Also, this thesis, proves that combining both solar & wind energy in the standalone hybrid power is system is better than operating with only one energy source. Based on the simulation results, based on the simulation results, standalone solar wind hybrid power system for this project will be a base for the future research.en_US
