In today's rapidly developing world, the need and demand for power and electricity is ever increasing. Therefore, to keep up with this rapid development, many alternative ways and renewable energy has been discovered and implemented. Today, since geothermal is one of a renewable energy source, it has attracted many attention for many parties to study and implement this technology. Many countries has been implement this geothermal energy to generate power such as Iceland, USA, Turkey, Netherlands, German and France. In Malaysia, this geothermal power also has been discovered and expected to be fully run in mid-year 2016. This paper is mainly about the research to investigate and discover the feasibility for having a geothermal in Malaysia as an electricity source. In this paper, the data of the hot spring in Malaysia was collected and being analyzed which hot spring has the highest potential to be used as a geothermal source. The result are used to develop a suitable geothermal power plant system. Based on the geothermal power plant developed, the engineering analysis and cost analysis for this geothermal system has been determined and calculated.
