dc.description.abstractA study has begun to investigate the concept and potential application of such locomotion principle, as well as attempt to fabricate a working prototype. Large numbers of literatures are reviewed, proving that it is a feasible idea to further design and develop cable driven robot. After studying enough research, a prototype of cable driven robot is designed and fabricated. The related mathematical models of the system are developed as well and the prototype is used to validate the mathematical model. The prototype and the mathematical models are developed to study and understand the locomotive system. All findings during the prototyping process are listed and elaborated to provide significant insight regarding cable driven robot.
