Abstract
Health monitoring device is one of the leading technologies in healthcare industries. A basic health monitoring device could able to monitor heartbeat, body temperature and blood pressure (systolic and diastolic) of user. Health monitoring device must be easy to wear and monitor so that the device will not affect user’s daily work. Results of the device can view on smart phone apps or through any other platform that provided by seller. In this project, the health monitoring device is aiming senior citizen because majority of them are staying alone during daytime and for elderly in old folk home might need this device as well. The proposed health monitoring device able to read heart rate, body temperature and location of the user. Hence, the collected data will transmit through Wi-Fi to the guardian. Lastly, a Graphic User Interface has been created for this device in case that the guardian is not familiar with coding. This helps to make sure that elderlies are having enough freedom to walk around housing area with the good health condition.
