| dc.description.abstract | The intention of this project is to promote a readily available 'network-faxing' solution that extends the flexibility of fax service to the existing local network, which integrates the fax technologies to the email system by introducing the Fax-to-Email gateway in the fax server. It enables enterprises to receive faxes a lot more productive and efficient, without high costs required in addition to offer private and secure delivery of incoming faxes to intended users. The thesis clearly defines the objectives and boundary of the proposed system. The thesis covers literature review that focuses on the fax technology, research and analysis on user requirements, software methodologies and software development tools. The thesis also encloses the documentation of software design and implementation phase. | en_US |
