Abstract
Electrical distribution system holds a crucial part in delivering the electric power. It is the final stage after the generation power system and transmission or grid network in delivery the electric power to the consumers. Thus, developing an intelligent system to detect fault at the distribution system is vital and indispensable to maintain operations that makes people live more comfortable. An approach by using fuzzy logic as the intelligent concept and idea for fault detection have been introduced. All of the design, parameters and simulation were strictly follow the specifications and requirements of the power distribution system in Malaysia. The data of the output have been recorded and examined thoroughly in order to fulfill and accomplish the objectives. The intelligent system by using fuzzy logic approach for fault detection in a distribution system have establish an appreciable outcome.
