dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this research is to obtain information and analyse the performance of these bio media more thoroughly where lab scale testing is conducted in two phases. The first phase consist of obtaining results of the standard water quality parameters. The parameters are dissolved oxygen (DO), temperature, pH, mixed liquor suspended solid (MLSS), mixed liquor volatile suspended solids (MLVSS), chemical oxygen demand (COD), biochemical oxygen demand (BOD), carbon biochemical oxygen demand (cBOD) and lastly ammonia nitrogen (NH4N). For the second phase, an analysis shall be done based on the Monod Equation to obtain graphical results in terms of showing the performance of the two bio media.en_US
