The goal of this project is to design and develop an automatic fan speed control system and to evaluate whether it can help to reduce energy consumption and the cost of electricity. The purpose of this project is because consumers feel that it is an issue when the fan speed is manually adjustable. This problem will contribute to higher energy consumption if the speed of the fan does not match the temperature of the current room. This device is therefore designed by using a temperature sensor and motion sensor as inputs, operated by a microcontroller, and automatically generating different fan speeds. The developed system is hoped to address the issue of high-energy consumption and high electricity costs.
