dc.description.abstract | This project is focusing to develop a mobile application (Magnetic Field Calculator) for the power frequency magnetic field and to analyze the magnetic field emission from various type of tower configuration in Malaysia. The mobile application is being developed by using Ionic framework which targeted at building a hybrid mobile app, a cross-platform application. The Magnetic Field Calculator will be able to calculate the magnetic field around transmission lines approximately. The results generated by Magnetic Field Calculator will be shown as a 2-D graph of magnetic field vs distance from the center of the tower, the conductor positions and also a tabulated data of calculated magnetic field values. The results of the magnetic field exposure are recorded and observed by changing the magnitude of currents, the height of calculation and conductor phase configuration. | |
