dc.description.abstractThe aims of a can manufacturing plant could be specified to have high quality products, optimum the time reduction, decrease in number of defects and high production rates to ultimately generate revenue for the company. Therefore, the purpose of this project is to design and develop the setting kit for quick self-quality checking equipment, in which emphasis will be focused on the improvement of manual settings for metal sheet shearing cans manufacturing process.At the beginning of this project, thorough research is conducted to identify the problem that is found in the FMP industry. Among the problems are the current production process, the current shearing processes, the method to do the maintenance and also the problem encountered in the shearing machine. After fully understand the problem occurred in the FMP industry, the next important stage is to design and build the concept generation. Several methods should be taken to achieve the better quality and meet the industrial satisfaction. This will help to understand the proper function of a device before finalizing the design. Finally, the analysis will be performed on the setting kit device to view the device ability by achieving the expected result and the impact occurred once it has been implemented.
