Abstract
Electricity is assuredly the most crucial type of energy type for human civilization. As a matter of fact, electricity is not only storable but also transformable to other energy types easily. This characteristic of electricity make it indispensable for human civilization. Satellite image of earth at night can show some important parameters such as human population density and distribution, power consumption and economics activities based on electricity usage. Due to increment of fuel cost, the usage of non-renewable energy source such as fossil fuel to power up the pedestrian street light are not very economics [1]. Thus energy harvesting had becomes very worthwhile to sustain the usage of fossil energy. Energy is harvested from ambient environment such as light, mechanical, human body, thermal, wind and others to replace fossil fuel to produce electricity [2]. In this great modern world, countries are inventing and developing great technology day after day, which induced a drastic increment in energy consumption and demand. The conventional method of producing electricity using coal, oil and natural gas are very efficient anymore since the raw sources are depleting in quantity rapidly over last few decades. Besides, the waste produce in order to generate electricity also could harm the environment such as global warming and climate change. In this project, energy are harvested from two different energy harvester. Types of energy harvester used; piezoelectric footstep generator and the solar power system.
