dc.description.abstractThis thesis report on the development of creating a chamber to find a melting point of polymer. The two chambers are where the heating process occurred. Temperature from heat element to both chamber is set as constant element. The both chamber heats two different things which is nylon fishing string and the other chamber is let to be empty in order to see the difference of temperature. The changing of temperature in the chamber will result to identify the melting point of the polymer. Temperature sensor is used to measure the changing of the temperature in the chamber which will sent the data to PC via DAQ (Data Aquisation). The result proved that the prototype can be used and fully functional to find a melting point of polymer that can melt under 100°c.
