dc.description.abstract | Nowadays, people depend and rely heavily on mechanical ventilation in buildings to help provide comfort and also to cool down inside temperature. These mechanical ventilations are designed and created to provide comfortable temperature for buildings in cold climate countries either during the summer or winter. Natural ventilation in design of houses have been slowly forgotten ever since the introduction and the invention of mechanical ventilation system. Concern towards the energy and power generation has emerged as critical since all the natural resources namely liquid natural gas (LNG) and coal are depleting rapidly due to the demand of energy around the world. The re-introduction of natural ventilation system in design of houses may be considered to help reduce the burden towards the energy demand. This study is conducted to provide an experimental analysis on the implementation of natural ventilation system in design of houses. It is expected from the research the recommendations on design of houses can be made in the end. | |
