dc.description.abstract | In this present world scenario composite materials have a wide range of applications. Fiber reinforced composite materials comprises of fiber embedded in matrix materials, which are is continuous fiber or short fiber composites. These composites have a better stress-strain, impact strength and good tensile properties. Coir fiber and PALF may be combined with epoxy resins to form composite materials. Further to enhance then tensile strength, both fibers are treated with Sodium Hydroxide (NaOH). The composite fiber is incorporated with egg shell powder to increase the tensile strength and impact properties, because greater the filler contents higher are the properties. | en_US |
