| dc.description.abstract | This thesis writing is basically based on the designing as well as the development of a person transfer mechanism. Person transfer mechanism is designed to help with the transferring of people at home, old folks' home or even hospital. A person transfer mechanism should make the process of carrying a person to a different location easier and safer. As a final year project, the task is to design a mechanism that enables a person to be carried and transferred to a different location. This thesis also focuses on the existing method of transferring non-ambulatory person and the transfer assist devices. | |
