Computational fluid dynamics or known as CFD model was used to evaluate the thermal comfort conditions in an automobile. In this study, the car BMW E30 was used as the experimental car. The use of CFD is to simulate the movement of air in the car where to calculate the 3d air flow and temperature fields. The calculated mean value for temperature and velocity is obtained from the simulation and it is substitute into the PMV equation in order to achieve the PMV index. The PMV index shown satisfactory level for the interior temperature of the car which is 27.3°C.
