This thesis mainly discusses on the mechanical properties of Oil Palm Fibre and Polypropylene. Oil Palm Fibre is one of the material that mainly goes into waste at the end in the milling industry. Polypropylene is mainly used for the plastic containers that are being sold in the current market. Samples were prepared with different concentrations of Oil Palm Fibre and one sample which was pure polypropylene was done to act as a control. The material was weighted and then undergoes compression to be able to analyze the sample. Mechanical testing were done on each of the sample and later was sent to scan under an electron microscope. The objective was to understand the properties of the oil palm fibre.
