dc.description.abstractThe sedimentation of damps over years causes large capacity lost of the damps that will affect the efficiency of public water supply, flood control, irrigation and hydropower. How to best dispose of or utilize the dredged sediment remains an important challenge due to lack of disposal area. In this paper has argued that using the sediments to produce interlocking brick can be one of the best methods to help a waste material to become a useful construction material. This research set out to find out Mechanical properties of masonry brick prism utilizing reservoir sediments by determining Compressive Strength, Modulus of Elasticity, Poisson's ratio and Deflection of masonry brick prism.
