This project focuses on a solar-powered street light lamp post with the capability to repel mosquitoes. Due to the increasing number of dengue cases in our country, it is proposed that a lamppost can have a dual function besides repelling mosquitoes enable to light up the street. The spatial technique is a promising technique in repelling mosquitoes thus centrifugal pump used in this project utilize the spatial technique which produces vapor combination of water and chemical mixture that keep mosquitoes to stay away once it is sprayed to the environment creates a safer zone for street users. Since the current streetlight uses a high power sodium vapour bulb which less efficient same time and less environmentally friendly taking it into consideration LED light used in this project more efficient and safe to the environment. Current mosquito buster operated by electricity thus this project carries out feasibility research to figure out solar power consumption of mosquito buster. As solar energy is abundant, efficient, and cost-saving compare to electricity. This design of repelling mosquitoes while light up the street is useful for a longer period and provide a safer zone for street users.en_US
