dc.description.abstract | Computer helps human a lot to reduce the time taken to compute a solution or analysis as the world's main and the best analyzer equipment. Every year new generation of processors will be unveil and at the same time so does with a new cooler for the processor. Computer system must be operated at certain ranges of temperature to make sure the system runs stable and for better hardware life-span. This project is about investigation of performance between air cooling and water cooling system for computer system mainly for desktop based or personal computer. The experiment is about to find the maximum temperature of processors cooled down by both air cooling and water cooling system by load the usage of processors up to 100% for 24 hours for multiple configurations. The results, powerful or a high-end cooling system like water cooling system can only see the true benefits if the system runs with high-end hardware which produce more heat. Based from all the results and the finding of this project, water cooling system is the best for serious user who want to push the system to the limit and also water cooling system is the best solution to reduce the temperature of computer system in the future. | |
