dc.description.abstractThis thesis reports the study on the safety culture for the future Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) operating organizations in Malaysia. Malaysia is planning to build its first NPP in near future. The objective is to find out the current level of work safety culture in Malaysia and come up with a safety culture guideline to be used by the NPP operating organizations in Malaysia. Two methods namely qualitative and quantitative as mentioned in the methodology were used to gather information and data. Interview and surveys were done in Malaysian industries requiring high safety culture. The information and data were analysed and summarised to provide a better understanding to readers. A guideline is prepared based on the information gathered for the use of future NPP operating organisations in Malaysia.
