Abstract
The Intelligent Car Park System is a system designed to prevent problems usually associated with car parks. The problems that have been solved by this project are car park congestion, indiscriminate parking and the problem of locating empty parking lots. Existing literature about car park systems were researched in libraries and on the Internet. The literature review was used to extend on work previously done on this type of system and to learn proper use of sensors. Experimental investigation was used to determine the practical operating characteristics of components such as propagation delays. A complete design process was drawn-out in search for a suitable design circuit to be implemented.
