Bertam River is one the main stream in Cameron Highland, Pahang. The downstream river has changed as an consequence of water storage and regulation in the ringlet reservoir. This study manages the effect of ringlet reservoir to downstream hydraulic capacity of Bertam downstream. To study the effect, the hydraulic simulation of river was modeled by utilizing the hydrodynamics programming Mike the software is designed to acquire the peak outflow and estimate the inundation depth and time of water went along the pathway. This study was observed that the reservoir had given critical effects to the downstream hydraulic capacity of Bertam river. Drops in stream discharge value, reduction in stream width and the characteristics of downstream flood situation are some of the impact meant above.
