Abstract
This thesis studies and presents in general about electrostatic discharge. The working principle is first studied and then the research is further branched into the priority which is the study on the electrostatic discharge from a spark plug. The different types of discharges that happens in this electrostatic induction is studied depending on its environment. Finally the parameters of erosion that happens during this discharge that affects the central electrode in time is obtained and the life cycle is studied based on the simulation done with the parameter.
