dc.description.abstractThe content of this thesis describe on how to classify the degradation level based on its conductivity values. The method of PDC determine the condition of cable by simulation modelling using MATLAB. The level of degradation is determine by comparing the results of simulation with the field data. The conductivity values of all cables then being categorized accordingly after the PDC measurement. The final stage is that the condition based maintenance of Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) is compared to the establish work on the level of degradation. The new proposed model has obtain the conductivity value based on the degradation classification level by making a comparison between condition based maintenance of Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) and establish work.
