This thesis is a research done on experimental and characterization method to meet the objective of the project that been carried out. The study of diabetes problem is done before start the project to be able to list out the problem statement and objective of the project. In this study, silica spheres (SiO2) had been introduced as the base for enzyme fictionalization. Glucose oxidase (GOx) was the enzyme used in this project that will functionalized onto SiO2 using physical adsorption method before it underwent UV-UV- Visual Spectrophotomer (UV-Vis) and Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR) for analyses for characterizations. All the result and data that have been collected will be tabulated and will be plot on graph to be discuss accordingly.
