dc.description.abstractThis research mainly focuses on developing and simulating DC-DC boost converters. The theoretical derivations and equations of parameters with design and simulation tests are shown for the boost converter's traditional and proposed configuration. In this work the author studied a boost converter equation and proposed the design components and the converter simulation. To detect changes in output voltage, the input parameters such as inductance, capacitance, and switching frequency are kept constant, simulation graph was also added to compare the performance of both converters. Until developing boost converters, certain parameters and their equations should be well understood. This research also includes simulation procedures in MATLAB Simulink. For both converters we achieved output parameter equations. The design and investigation were completed using mathematical examples for both converters and the circuits for simulating boost converters were produced. And also, with the adjustment of input parameters, they have achieved specific output voltage curve. The output graphs for all the converters are well fitted. This system will be widely benefited for the industry as the proposed design converter provides smooth acceleration control, high efficiency and fast dynamic response.en_US
