This thesis reports the design and development of solar irradiation tracking device onto solar floating system. The proposed design can increase the efficiency of the solar floating system and maximise the absorption of the energy from the Sun. The research on the construction of the solar floating platform is done to ensure the platform is stable to withstand the solar panel. Furthermore, the solar floating system with and without tracking devices will be monitored. The voltage and current of the solar panel, battery charging time, ambient temperature and humidity are monitored using specific sensors. The data is collected for both systems individually. The comparison between the data collected will determine the system with the best performance to be analysed. Moreover, the battery voltage is monitored to ensure to increase the lifecycle of the battery to prevent replacement of new batteries which may increase the cost. Finally, with the help of the HC-06 Bluetooth module connected to the Arduino, users will be able to monitor the data from the solar floating system through their smartphones.en_US
