dc.description.abstractThe objectives of this research study was to compare the existing treatment technology and to determine the viability of incineration to replace landfill method in Peninsular Malaysia. The methodology used in this research are Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), OPEX and CAPEX and survey to do the comparison between three different types of treatment technologies which are landfill, incineration and compost. The result shows that incineration treatment technology was the highest impact on environmental burden and also incurred higher cost compared to other treatment methods.en_US
