Manufacturing wastes or commonly known as MUDA are non-beneficial to any manufacturers and should be reduced or eliminated for better manufacturing processes. This paper focus on methods to reduce four specific wastes (Transportation waste, Over Processing waste, Overproduction waste and Inventory Loss), awareness on MUDA and effects of JIT implementation to automotive industry. Literature review was done to identify methods to eliminate the four specific wastes. Two questionnaires were distributed to a company to investigate awareness on MUDA as well as its effects to manufacturer. Results obtained from the questionnaire were then validated through Statistical Package for the Social Sciences Software (SPSS) to identify the validity of the questions.en_US
