Aerodynamics is a crucial element especially when it relates to high-speed racing. Being a gravitational sport that relies heavily on speed, street luge is no exception to this. This analysis is bound to study the flow process on street luge, streamline, pressure distribution and overall drag coefficient of a typical build street luge. A two-dimensional flow analysis has been performed for axial wind loading to understand the airflow characteristics surrounding a street luge body. Results provide associated drag for the street luge geometry including net downforce per unit area. From the current design, there are still a lot of rooms for improvements. By understanding the air flow surrounding the street luge and its characteristics, future innovations can be done to benefit this sport in the future.
